SOL-V is an emerging Norwegian electronic pop artist living in London. She has an unique deep, powerful and clear voice. She started writing ballads over 7 years ago and has now developed her own niche – electronic ballads dropping into house. Picture Adele with an electronic twist.

After moving to London in 2013 and finishing a BMus in Music Performance and Production she has been workings as a songwriter, pianist, singer and producer. "Let's Dance Free" is SOL-V's second single after her debut single, "Stand Up", which was released early May. Her new single was written when she isolated herself to write her EP (to be released in October) on her peaceful cabin on the Norwegian mountains surrounded by wild nature and snow. Her mixing of genres reflects her influences, which includes Sam Smith, Adele, Tove Lo, Nao, Disclosure etc.

SOL-V writes her own songs and has collaborated and co-produced with producers in Norway and the UK. With regards of launching her second single, she performed the track on the radio at Surrey Hills Radio and NRK Hedmark (Norway), and at a concert in Hamar (Norway) in front of approximately 3000 people. At this concert, she performed alongside well-known Norwegian musicians including Atle Pettersen, Staysman & Lazz and Cir.Cuz.

Well folk, you are listening through the safety of radio, I am sitting here next to this powerful powerful voice and it's amazing. It's absolutely amazing indeed.” - Surrey Hills Radio
